Pouso do Atoba is located in the historical, colonial village of Paraty, Brazil, on the “Costa Verde”, between Rio and Sao Paulo.

Pouso do Atoba, surrounded by a tropical garden, with swimming-pool, lounge-bar, steam sauna, which has become an authentic, colorful, colonial space, and can sleep up to 40 people.

In Portugese pouso means to land and atoba is brazilian diving bird (mergulhao).

The sanctuary-like piece of land, 1.5 km (1 mile) from the historic center of Paraty, just 200 m (220 yards) from the sandy Jabaquara Bay beach. In Jabaquara beach you also find some restaurants and supermarkets.

The interiors are detailed with furniture, paintings, lamps all custom made by artists and designers.
